Ijaw National leader and former Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, Chief Edwin Clark is dead at 97.
A statement from the family signed by Prof CC Clark for the family and Mr. Penawei Clark for the children, stated that the icon passed on 17th February , 2025.
The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family did not give further details of the death one of the greatest sons of the Niger Delta and vibrant Federal Commissioner for Information.
The statement reads, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.
“The family appreciates your prayers at this time.
Other details will be announced later by the family.”
