Ex-Senate President, David Mark loses eldest son
Cancer claims the life of David Mark’s first son who died in London, surrounded by family members

The son of former Senate President, David Mark, died in the morning in a London hospital on Friday,October 21st at the age of 51.
His son,Tunde Jonathan Mark, passed away after fighting unsuccessfully with cancer for a rather long period of time.
Paul Mumeh, the media adviser to David Mark, confirmed this in a statement, saying “Tunde, who died after a long battle with cancer, was the first son of the former President of the Senate.”
The statement went on to speak briefly about the life and education of the deceased, saying that funeral details would be released later.
“Born on the 13th of October, 1971, Tunde attended Yaba Military School, located in Yaba, Lagos where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.
Tunde later proceeded to Bradfield College, Berkshire, UK where he attended Secondary school.
Tunde is a Biochemist who obtained a B.Sc degree from King’s College, London. He studied immunology alongside biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was married with a daughter.
“He passed away peacefully surrounded by family members and loved ones. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
