Ogedegbe Flawless Soccer Tournament Returns for Second Edition

The Nathaniel Ogedegbe Sports Foundation (NOSF) has announced the second edition of the Ogedegbe Flawless Soccer Tournament, scheduled for December 2024.

This highly anticipated event is designed specifically for U10 and U12 youth soccer teams, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and foster their passion for soccer.

The tournament promises to be an exciting display of youthful talent. Teams compete in a 7v7 format at the Shonebare Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. The event is divided into two categories: U10 boys competing from December 7-8 and U12 boys competing from December 17-18.

One of the standout features of the Ogedegbe Flawless Soccer Tournament is its commitment to providing a top-notch experience for participating teams.

The event boasts professional referees and well-maintained playing facilities, ensuring a competitive and safe environment for all players.

The top three teams in each category will also receive awards and trophies, recognizing their hard work and dedication.

What’s more, participation in the tournament is completely free for all teams, thanks to the generosity of the Nathaniel Ogedegbe Sports Foundation.

This ensures that financial constraints do not hinder talented young players from showcasing their skills.

Registration for the tournament is now open online, with teams required to complete their roster verification on or before November 30, 2024. Interested teams can visit the NOSF website to register and secure their spot in the competition.

The Ogedegbe Flawless Soccer Tournament is the brainchild of Nathaniel Ogedegbe, a former Nigerian soccer player who founded the NOSF to give back to the community where he learned the game.

Ogedegbe’s illustrious career includes stints with Saint Finbarr’s College Lagos, Lagos State Academicals, and the Flying Eagles.

The inaugural youth football competition was held in January 2024, and this second edition promises to be even more exciting.
