One Injured As Bomb Explosion Rocks Yobe Market
An Improvised Explosive Device which exploded at a market in Buni Yadi market, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State has left a female injured
Buni Yadi was one of the local government areas affected by the Boko Haram insurgency in Yobe State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 12.30 PM on Friday.
The explosion was confirmed by the Spokesman of the Sector 2 Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai, Captain Muhammad Shehu also confirmed the incident.
Shehu said that Army discovered a second IED which was planted in the market and detonated it.
According to him, the lady who was injured in the explosion was being treated at of the health facilities in Buni Yadi.
He explained that the explosion was caused by an exploded IED and not a suicide bombing incident.
