Esther Ogechi Nworgu has won Nigeria’s second medal at the ongoing Paralympic Games, clinching the Silver medal in women’s up to 41kg Para-Powerlifting.
Nworgu set two new Paralympic Records with her last two attempts, lifting 112kg and 118kg respectively, with China’s Zhe Cui setting a new PR of 119kg to win the GOLD medal.
