DS Africa beams searchlight on Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, Benue states for top talents

In their frantic efforts to discover the likes of Austin Okocha, Taribo West, Kanu Nwankwo, John Obi Mikel, among others, Digital Scouting Africa, on Saturday, April 20, concluded the first phase of their scouting programme in Asaba, Delta State, and will embark on their search for top notch talents in Kaduna, Benue, Akwa Ibom and Jos, Plateau State.
Technical Consultant/ Director for the project, CAF licensed Coach, Coach Olarenwaju Olojo-Kosoko, who was so impressed with the talents on parade said he can’t wait to see what the aforementioned States will offer in terms of talents, but very optimistic that more and top great talents that will write their names and that of the country in gold will be fished out from these areas.
In his own words, the CEO Tosmicom Sports Agency and Founder, Digital Scouting Africa, Adebayo Samuel Oluwasegun said: “The tide in sourcing football talents is slowly turning to West Africa and by extension, Africa.”
The submission above should be a welcome opportunity that should be embraced with all and sundry. Hence, attention will be shifted to Jos on Monday and Tuesday to get some great young football talents that will wow the football world discovered.
It would be recalled that Plateau State have produced the highest number of players that have Captained the Super Eagles of Nigeria, they include: Segun Odegbami, Ogenyi Onazi, John Obi Mikel and current Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa. All eyes will be in Jos to produce another leader for the senior National team.
Kaduna State will get their own share of getting their best of talents harvested on between April 24 and 25.
It will be the turn of Benue State on from April 27 to 28 while Akwa Ibom will be next in line on from April 30 to May 1.
