NFF Set for 2024 Annual General Assembly in Asaba

Preparations are underway for the Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) 2024 Annual General Assembly, scheduled to take place on Friday in Asaba, Delta State.
By Thursday evening, all delegates had arrived in the state capital, ready for the pivotal gathering.
The NFF Annual General Assembly is the premier event for football administrators and stakeholders in Nigeria, providing a platform for idea-sharing, policy formulation, and rule-making to govern the sport nationally for the upcoming year.
The assembly will bring together a diverse range of representatives, including:
Chairmen and secretaries of Football Associations from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
Leadership of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women Football League, and Nationwide League One
Chairmen and secretaries of the referees’ association, players’ union, and coaches’ association
These stakeholders collectively form the Congress, the highest decision-making body in Nigerian football.
The event will also be attended by members of the NFF Executive Committee and Management, as well as former NFF Presidents and General Secretaries.
Distinguished guests include:
Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh
Nigeria’s FIFA Council member, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick
Representative of the West African Football Union (WAFU B)
The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, will declare the General Assembly open. Other notable attendees include Delta State government officials, dignitaries, observers, and media representatives.
The assembly will take place at the Unity Hall of the Delta State Government House.
