Official: Eagles on way back to Nigeria

The Super Eagles have started boarding to return back to Nigeria after the treatment meted on them by Libyan authorities.
The chartered plane that took the team has just been cleared to return back to Nigeria.
The players and officials spent over 15 hours at the airport after landing despite the diversion of the plane midway to the journey to Libya.
The Eagles were billed to play an AFCON qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya tommow but Nigeria pulled out due to the poor treatment in Libya.
