2Face’s Estranged Wife, Annie Drops Singer’s Surname, Reverts To Maiden Name

Annie Idibia, the Nigerian actress and estranged wife of singer, 2Face Idibia, has reverted to her maiden name following their separation.

The couple, who married in 2012, announced their split in January 2025.

After remaining silent for some time following 2Face’s public announcement of their separation, Annie returned to social media on March 27, 2025 and deleted all previous posts on her Instagram page but later broke her silence with a heartfelt message to her supporters.

Annie, in her post dropped 2Face’s surname and chose to address herself by her maiden name, “Annie Uwana Macaulay.” She expressed deep gratitude to her family, friends, and fans for their love and support during this challenging period.

She wrote; “Thank you to my family and friends who came through for me, my incredible support system, and all the amazing people here and around the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I truly appreciate each one of you, and I don’t take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to favor you. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”

However, she seemed not to have effected the changes to her name on her social media accounts as her Instagram profile still reads “Annie Idibia1.”
