KSA Leads MCSN Members On Condolence Visit To Onyeka Onwenu’s Family

The Honourary President of the Musical Copyright Society Nigeria Ltd/Gte (MCSN), Dr. Sunday Adegeye led a team of members of the Board of the Society and staffs to the Lagos home of the late Elegant Stallion of the music industry, Ms Onyeka Onwenu, who passed on days ago to pay the family a condolence visit, on behalf of millions of members of the Society and its international affiliates.
The Juju music super star, aka King Sunny Ade, who was accompanied by the Chairman of the Board, Orits Williki, the CEO of the Society, Mayo Ayilaran, Kenny “Keke Keke”Ogungbe and Tee Mac, all members of the Board, was full of emotions, while commiserating with the family and prayed that God will give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of such a talented multi dimensional diva.
He said that as a member of MCSN, the Elegant Stallion was fun to be with and added that, “Her legacy will live on forever.”
In his part, Orits Williki described the late Onyeka Onwenu as “a man” and called on women, especially the young ones, to emulate her as a role model, saying that she always stood for what was right and would not fold her hands on the basis of gender.
The CEO of the MCSN described the late legendary musician as a woman of impact, who he said hated injustice and always stood up for the right thing.
He added that the legacy of the Elegant Stallion will never be forgotten.
