Singer Davido loses son,Ifeanyi,days after his birthday
Davido loses only son who is said to have been in pool for long and died from drowning

The news of the death of singer Davido’s first son, Ifeanyi, has left some of his fans and well-wishers in mourning though the singer has not confirmed the news yet.
Three-year-old Ifeanyi who was born to him by his fiancée,Chioma Rowland, was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Davido was said to be in London at the time of the incident while his partner,Chioma,was in Ibadan.
Various Twitter users have expressed their condolences, whilst others hang on to hope that the news is false.
A tweep, Peace Agina, expressed her pain saying, “The demise of Davido and Chioma’s son is heartbreaking. No parent should lose their child. This is really sad. I pray God comforts them.”
Ifeanyi who was born in 2019 was said to have been underwater for a very long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state. He was, however, confirmed dead on arrival.
The horrific incident happened on the night of Monday,October 31st, a few days after his third birthday on October 20.
Though the Adeleke’s are yet to make any official statement, several celebrities posted cryptic messages on their social media page, which many have taken as a confirmation of the news.
Hours after the news broke out, Iyabo Ojo, Ay Comedian, William Uchemba, Paul Okoye and several other celebrities all shared condolences.
