All set for Alara Little League Tourney-Organisers
The Organisers of the 2023 Alara Little League Baseball Tournament, on Wednesday, said all is set to host the participating teams at the Alara Little League Tournament in Ara, Osun state From Feb. 4 to Fab. 6
Kehinde Laniyan, the tournament Director said the teams are from Lagos, Oyo and Osun States.
According to Laniyan, the teams are Ajagba Little League from Ibadan, MHS Little League, Ibadan, Badagry Angels from Lagos, Divine Warriors, Ibadan and Adekalu Bulls from Lagos.
Others are CMS Rockets, Lagos and Ara Community Little League.
“We have put all the necessary measures to ensure a hitch free competition for the participating teams.
“Free accommodation, feeding and local transports will be provided for the teams.
” Boys of little league age 10, to 12years are eligible to participate, meaning players born on September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2013,” he said.
He commended Oba Olubayo Windapo, the Alara of Ara Kingdom for sponsoring the competition.
He added that the tournament would help to hone the skills of the players ahead of the forthcoming Little League West Africa Regional Tournament in April.
The regional competition would hold from April 11 to April 17.
