Gospel Sensation Angel Heart Hosts Exclusive Listening Party for Debut Album

Up-and-coming gospel artist, Omoseyin Esther Taiwo, popularly known as Angel Heart, hosted an exclusive album listening party in Lagos on Sunday, giving industry insiders and media personalities a sneak peek into her highly anticipated debut album.
The album, which is currently undergoing final reviews, is expected to hit the market by February 2025.
Angel Heart, who hails from Ondo State, is a talented singer and songwriter who has been working tirelessly to bring her music to the forefront.
Her album, which is centered around God and Jesus, features soul-stirring tracks that aim to inspire and uplift listeners.
According to Angel Heart, each track on the album has a unique message and significance.

“The whole message of the songs is about God, it’s about Jesus. Taking for instance ‘Durode Oluwa’, it’s a song to encourage someone that felt all hope is lost. By the time they hear that song, even with the lyrics, they should be able to get hold of themselves and know that God is the source of everything,” she explained.
The album’s creative process was not without its challenges.
Angel Heart revealed that the album took five years to complete due to various setbacks, including financial constraints and location changes.
However, despite these obstacles, she remained committed to her vision.
Angel Heart’s producer and CEO of KWG Entertainment, Opeyemi Kolawole, also shared his thoughts on the album’s journey.
“It took five years because we had projects like the funds spent on the album were not loans. They were personal money that I got from my regular job. It took a lot of time to recoup such funds,” he explained.
Kolawole, who discovered Angel Heart’s talents while she was serving as his backup singer, expressed his confidence in her abilities.
“I had seen the music dexterity, the enablement, drive, tenacity, and her skills in music. I had seen that when she was a backup, so after some years when we reconnected, it was easy for me to know that she was going to do well on the label,” he said.
When asked about the decision to focus on gospel music, Kolawole revealed that it was a deliberate choice.

“I have always been a gospel artist, and that’s the first call for me because that’s my major. It was easy for me, even though I have other secular artists within the label,” he explained.
The album listening party, which was attended by industry stakeholders and media personalities, provided a platform for Angel Heart to showcase her talent and share her music with a wider audience.
With her debut album set to drop in February, Angel Heart is poised to make a significant impact in the music industry.
