JUST IN: Meranda Resigns As Lagos Speaker Over Unresolved Face-Off Against Obasa
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has tendered her resignation, over inability of the All Progressives Congress, APC to resolve the face-off with her predecessor, Mudasiru Obasa.
This is coming weeks after Obasa was removed as Speaker and she was selected by 36 lawmakers as the substantive speaker of the House.
